In short
Loopio and TenderRender both help teams answer complex requests faster, but they start from a different place. Loopio, according to its website, is built around a shared content library and response workflow for RFPs, RFIs, due diligence questionnaires and security questionnaires, with AI that fills in answers from your approved content. TenderRender is built around the public tender: it reads the tender pack with a source citation for every answer, proposes clarification questions, writes each answer from your own bid library to the award criteria, fills in forms such as the ESPD and scores your draft before submission. Choose Loopio if most of your questions repeat and you need many colleagues to keep approved answers up to date. Choose TenderRender if each tender asks something new and your score depends on how well you answer this buyer's criteria.
This comparison is published by TenderRender; we make one of the tools discussed. It is based on publicly available information checked on 6 October 2026. It is not an independent test.
What does Loopio do?
Loopio describes itself as AI RFP software for the people behind every RFP, security questionnaire and DDQ. According to its website, the platform offers:
- A content library that pulls from your own approved answers and connected sources such as SharePoint, Google Drive and websites.
- Response automation that imports questions from documents or web portals, organises them and auto-fills answers for a first draft.
- Response Intelligence, Loopio's own AI, which it says is trained on more than a decade of response data.
- Project management and collaboration, including assigning questions to subject matter experts, automated reminders and scheduled review cycles that keep library answers current.
- Integrations with CRMs such as Salesforce, HubSpot and Microsoft Dynamics 365, with Slack and Microsoft Teams, and with Microsoft Word and other Office tools.
- Analytics on project effort, library health and response performance.
Loopio says more than 1,700 companies use it, mostly in technology, financial services, healthcare and business services. For a sales or proposal team that answers the same security and company questions again and again, that is a strong setup.
What does TenderRender do?
TenderRender treats each tender as a new piece of work:
- Analyse. The AI reads the tender pack and answers your questions, with a citation that opens the right page.
- Clarification questions. TenderRender proposes questions for unclear or contradictory points, with its reasoning. We test these internally against real clarification rounds.
- Submission list. A list per phase of everything you need to submit.
- Write. After a few targeted questions, the AI writes each answer from your own library, in your own style, built around this buyer's award criteria. Colours show where each passage comes from.
- Forms. The ESPD and other forms are filled in with your company details. Anything it cannot support stays open.
- Review. A score per award criterion with specific points to improve.
TenderRender also finds tenders in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, with an AI match score from 1 to 5 and a daily email. It is ISO 27001 certified, stores data in the EU and does not train on customer data.

Who is each tool for?
Loopio suits you if you answer a high volume of repeat questionnaires, many departments own parts of the content, and keeping approved answers current is your biggest risk.
TenderRender suits you if you respond to public tenders where weighted quality questions decide the outcome, and a reused answer rarely scores well without rewriting it for this buyer.
Still unsure? Count how many questions in your last five bids could be answered word for word from a previous response. If most could, a library tool fits. If few could, you need a tool that writes to the criteria.
Can you use both?
You can. Some organisations keep Loopio for security questionnaires and commercial RFPs and use TenderRender for public tenders with award criteria. Before you do, check whether maintaining content in two places and paying for two licences is worth it for your volume.
Frequently asked questions
Is TenderRender an alternative to Loopio?
For teams whose main work is public tenders with award criteria, yes: it covers analysis, clarification questions, writing, forms and review. For teams that mostly answer repeat questionnaires across many departments, Loopio's library and workflow are built for that.
Is Loopio only an answer library?
No. Loopio also offers AI drafting, project management, collaboration and analytics. Managing and reusing approved content remains central to how it works.
Does Loopio score responses against the award criteria?
We could not find scoring against tender award criteria in Loopio's public product information. Check the current position with Loopio.
Does TenderRender keep a library?
Yes. Your past bids form the library the AI writes from. It uses them as evidence and source material for a new answer rather than copying approved text.
Is this comparison independent?
No. It is written by TenderRender and compares use cases based on public information. Test both tools on a tender you know.
