TenderRenderAI for tenders

In short

TenderWolf is a Belgian platform for finding and qualifying public tenders: AI matching against your company profile, an AI Quickscan of the tender specifications, competitor screening and market insight. If you are looking for an alternative, the right choice depends on where you lose time. If, after finding a tender, you also want to write and review the proposal, with a source citation for every statement, questions for the clarification round and completed forms such as the ESPD, TenderRender is the logical alternative. If you mainly want Belgian tender alerts with personal support, or construction projects, look at Govex or EBP.

This comparison is published by TenderRender; we make one of the tools discussed. It is based on publicly available information, checked on October 6, 2026. It is not an independent test and not a complete market overview.

What does TenderWolf do well?

According to tenderwolf.com, TenderWolf rests on three pillars:

  • Matching (TenderDNA). AI matching that learns from your company profile and your feedback, alongside search profiles based on CPV codes, NUTS regions, keywords, contractor accreditations and specific contracting authorities.
  • Analysis (Workflow). An AI Quickscan that summarizes a set of tender specifications: subject, selection criteria, award criteria with weighting, deadlines and lots. On top of that, a go/no-go qualification and screening of competitors and possible partners per tender.
  • Market insight. Company profiles with tender history, bid opening reports and contract awards, plus TenderForecast for contracts that will soon be re-tendered.

TenderWolf covers Belgium (e-Procurement), the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France and European tenders above the thresholds via TED (Tenders Electronic Daily, the EU's tender journal). There is a free entry plan for one country. For teams that mainly want to find and choose better, that is a strong package.

Why do teams look for an alternative?

Usually not because finding tenders goes wrong, but because the real work starts afterward. In TenderWolf's product description we found no feature for writing proposal texts, filling out forms or reviewing your proposal. That remains manual work in Word, or work for a second tool.

Other reasons we hear:

  • you want to be able to trace where every AI-generated text comes from;
  • you want help with the clarification round, not just with the summary;
  • you work in construction and also look for private projects;
  • you want a Belgian selection with human support.

The alternatives at a glance

1. TenderRender: from tender to reviewed proposal

TenderRender covers the whole process after the tender alert. Belgian tenders come in through a direct connection with BOSA e-Procurement (Belgium's official public procurement platform): you set broad sector or CPV codes and a company description, optionally filter by province, and every tender gets an AI match score with an explanation and a daily email. A tender you found yourself, or a negotiated procedure, you add manually.

After that:

  • Analysis of the tender specifications with a source reference for every requirement, checked against your own company data.
  • Clarification round: suggested questions about ambiguities and contradictions.
  • Writing per award criterion from your past proposals, with a source citation for every statement that opens the source document at the right page.
  • Forms and ESPD (European Single Procurement Document, UEA in Belgium) filled out with verified data; anything that cannot be substantiated stays open on a checklist.
  • Review per award criterion, with a score and points for improvement.
  • Export to Word, including in your own template.

Who it's for: teams that see enough tenders but lose time reading, writing, filling out forms and proofreading.

Points to note: TenderRender is not a market intelligence database with competitor profiles and not a submission platform. You submit the proposal yourself on e-Procurement.

2. Govex: Belgian selection with support

Govex is a Brussels-based platform for public tenders in Belgium and Europe. According to govex.be, you receive a daily selection of tenders, filtered by sector and region, with information that Govex checks itself. There is also a database of contracting authorities, a CRM for following up on bids, AI chatbots for searching through notices, and training courses.

Who it's for: companies that want a Belgian selection with a personal approach.

Points to note: the emphasis is on finding and following up, not on writing the proposal.

3. EBP: public tenders and construction projects

According to its own website, EBP has been active in public procurement for more than thirty years. In addition to extra search functions, market information and alerts on top of e-Procurement, EBP also shows private construction projects in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Who it's for: construction companies and suppliers that want to follow public and private projects in one place.

Points to note: the focus is on project information and tender alerts.

4. Altura: bid management for complex tenders

Altura is a Dutch bid management platform with configurable AI workflows for complex tenders (from tender analysis to compliance and clarification questions).

Who it's for: teams with complex tenders and many people involved.

Points to note: ask during a demo how the platform handles Belgian sources and French-language tender specifications. More in Altura alternatives.

5. BOSA e-Procurement: the free baseline

BOSA's e-Procurement platform is the official place where Belgian tenders are published and where you submit. You can search publicly, filter by CPV code, region and deadline, and save searches.

Who it's for: anyone who follows only a few tenders or wants to explore the market first.

Points to note: no AI matching, no analysis and no writing support.

How to choose

Start with your bottleneck. Are you missing tenders, or are you struggling to get proposals written well and on time? The first calls for a tender alert tool, the second for a writing and review tool.

Combining is possible. TenderWolf or Govex for finding, TenderRender for analysis, writing and reviewing. That makes sense when each tool does something the other does not.

Test with real tender specifications. Take a tender you won or lost last year. Does the tool extract all award criteria, including those in the annexes? Can you trace every sentence?

Think about language. Does the tool need to handle French-language tender specifications? Test that explicitly.

Ask about confidentiality. Where are your documents stored and who can access them? TenderRender is ISO 27001 certified.
