# Bid library software and content library for tenders: earlier bids as a source for the AI

> TenderRender stores earlier bids, award decisions and evidence in a Library and uses them as a source for new bids, with a source for every passage.

TenderRender is bid library software: in the Library you keep earlier bids, award decisions, certificates and references, and the AI draws your USPs, evidence and good examples from it for new bids. The Brain condenses that Library, plus knowledge from your website, into six documents about your organisation, so TenderRender writes in your own style.

## How it works

1. **You upload earlier bids to the Library,** a folder structure comparable to SharePoint. Up to 100 files per upload including subfolders, or a ZIP of up to 200 MiB. A single document can be up to 100 MiB and 1,000 pages; Word, PowerPoint and .xls files up to 30 MiB, so save a larger one as a PDF first.
2. **You fill in the Brain together with the AI.** The AI searches your Library, asks questions and proposes changes you accept or reject one by one.
3. **You add award decisions to the tender.** Under "Lessons learned" the AI analyses your win rate and the points where you consistently win or lose.
4. **TenderRender writes from your own material,** with those lessons, and shows for every passage where the text came from.

Rule of thumb: a document that may be relevant again as an example or evidence, such as an earlier bid, award decision or certificate, goes in the Library. Knowledge about your organisation that you use across tenders, such as way of working, distinguishing features and writing style, goes in the Brain. Information about a single tender belongs to the project.

## What you get

- A content library for tenders with earlier bids, award decisions, certificates and references in one place.
- A Brain of six documents about your organisation, such as writing style, about us and services.
- [New text](https://www.tenderrender.com/en-gb/features/bid-writing) in your writing style, with source references.

## Why not just SharePoint?

On SharePoint or a shared drive your knowledge is stored, but you still search for the right example and evidence yourself for every bid. TenderRender reads your Library, draws out your strengths and good examples and uses them directly while writing.

## What TenderRender does not do

- TenderRender does not invent references or evidence. What is not in your Library or Brain, it cannot substantiate.
- A source reference shows where text came from, not that it still holds for this tender. You check the content.

## Part of one platform

The Library and Brain feed [tender analysis](https://www.tenderrender.com/en-gb/features/tender-analysis), [clarification questions](https://www.tenderrender.com/en-gb/features/clarification-questions), writing, form filling and [review against the award criteria](https://www.tenderrender.com/en-gb/features/bid-review).
